THE HORSE IN THE CULTURE AND FOLKLORE IN ALTAI

Abstract

The article discusses the role of the horse in the culture and in the heroic epics of the Altaians. In Altai horse is the most valuable and favorite animal. This was reflected in oral tradition and literature. According to the current culture of the Altai hierarchy of living creatures, the horse is a creature of a higher order, comparable in status with the person.
