TÜRK’ÜN STRATEJİ VE ZEKÂ OYUNU “MANGALA”

Özet

Uzun yıllar boyunca pek çok Türk halkı tarafından oynanan ata yurtlarından bir zekâ oyunu olan mangala kurnazlık, direnme, sağgörü, önceden görme ve stratejik çözümlemenin öğreticisi olmuştur. Oyun bireye; dikkatli olma, odaklanabilme, teknik ve taktik geliştirme, stratejik düşünebilme yetisi, öngörü, sosyal beceri ve ince motor becerileri geliştirme, analiz etme, hafıza güçlendirme, özgüven, ipuçlarını imgeleme yetileri ve aynı zamanda bireye başarısızlıklar karşısında olumlu davranış sergileme, başarı ve planlı çalışma, kurallara uyma, sabırlı olma özellikleri kazandırır. Oyunun Hunlar, Sakalar, Göktürkler, Karahanlılar, Selçuklular ve Osmanlılar döneminde var olduğu özellikle padişah ve şehzadeler tarafından bir savaş, zekâ ve strateji oyunu olarak oynandığı bilinmektedir. Oyun tahtası üzerinde karşılıklı altışar adet olmak üzere on iki küçük kuyu ve her iki oyuncunun taşlarını toplayacağı birer büyük hazneye sahip olduğu mangala oyunu kırk sekiz taşla ve değişik kurallarla oynanabilmektedir. Türk kültürünün yansıması olan bu oyunun her hamlesi gelenek ve göreneklerden yansımalar taşımaktadır. Türklerin baba ocağını terk etmeme geleneğinden çift yapma kuralı ile Türk inanç ve devlet sistemi ikili anlayışına kadar kültürümüzden kesitleri sembolize etmektedir. Ayrıca güç oyunu denilen mangala oyun malzemelerinin kolay temin edilebilir olması sebebiyle toplumun her kesiminde zevkle oynanmıştır. Hareket etmek anlamına gelen mangala çeşitli şekillerde adlandırılmış ve kültürümüzün bir parçası olmuştur. Yapılan bu çalışmada dünyada çok iyi bilinen fakat Türkiye’de bir dönem unutulmuş olan mangala oyunu çeşitli yönleriyle ele alındı. Buradan yola çıkarak araştırmanın amacı; dünyada, Türk kültüründe, Osmanlı Devleti’nde ki yeri ve önemi, kültürümüze yansıması, oyun kurallarının tespit edilmesi, mangala oyununun tanıtılması, sürdürülmesi, yeniden hayat bulması ve bu yolla nesilden nesile aktarılması ve mangala oyunu ile ilgili literatür oluşturulmasıdır. Araştırma derleme çalışması olup mangala ile ilgili literatür incelenmiş, kitap makale ve bulgulara yer verilmiştir.

Abstract

Mangala, an ancestral homeland played by many Turkish people for many years, has become a teacher of cunning, resistance, forgiveness, foresight and strategic solution. Game custom; the ability to think carefully, focus, technical and tactical development, strategic thinking ability to predict, develop and analyze social skills and fine motor skills, memory strengthening, imagination of self confidence tips, and at the same time showing positive behavior in the face of individual failures success and planned work, being, attributes. It is known that the game was played as a fighting game and strategy game on the side of the Huns Beards, Göktürks Karahans, Seljuks and Ottomans especially on the side of the Sultan and princes. The mangala game, in which two of them have a great treasure to collect the stones of 12 small wells and players, including 6 pots on the game board, can be played with stone and various rules. Reflecting Turkish culture, every move of this festival reflects traditions and customs. From the tradition of not leaving the father of the Turks, the couple symbolizes the cross section from the culture to the dual understanding of the Turkish belief system and the system of the Turkish belief system. Since the mangala game material called the power game is easily identifiable, it has been played with pleasure in every part of the society. The mangala, which means to move, has become part of our named culture in various forms.
