Özet
Klozapin dirençli şizofrenide etkili bir atipik antipsikotiktir. Agranülositoz, myokardit ve pulmoner emboli gibi ölümcül yan etkilere sahiptir. Klozapin tedavisine bağlı pulmoner emboli ilk 3 ayda görülürken olgumuzda klozapin tedavisinin 19. yılında pulmoner emboli gelişmiştir. Bu olguda klozapin tedavisine bağlı pulmoner embolinin yönetimini ve ruhsal durum üzerine etkisini sunduk
Abstract
Clozapine is an effective atypical antipsychotic in resistant schizophrenia. It has fatal side effects such as agranulocytosis, myocarditis and pulmonary embolism. While pulmonary embolism due to clozapine treatment was observed in the first 3 months, pulmonary embolism developed in our case in the 19th year of clozapine treatment. In this case, we presented the management of clozapine-induced pulmonary embolism and its effect on mental state.
