Abstract

Physical education is an activity system that teaches how to move organs in a methodical manner by ensuring the bodily and structural development; how joints and muscles are developed in a controlled and balanced manner, and how the physical power that is spent during work and social activity periods after school age is used in an economic manner This study implementation in primary grades 4 and 5 of the physical education classes selected to determine the effect on motor characteristics and accordingly was done in order to examine differences between students. The study sample group 2 hours per week on a regular basis the physical education teacher at the side of the course as a practical involved 35 students and physical education classes classroom teachers under the supervision of regularly participating 35 primary 1 and 2 in step read 70 students who volunteered to participate. Student t test was used for independent groups in comparison of groups. To achieve the purpose of their search volunteers who participated in the study with physical measurements of flexibility, arm movements, speed, balance, standing long jump, arm strength, sit-up sand speed such as motor characteristics were measured. In the 4th and 5th grades, there was no significant difference between the 5th grade students who had regular physical education courses and the 4th grade students who didn't have regular physical education courses (p>0.05). In the comparison of male and female students in each class, body weight, flexibility and balance data were found to be significant among male and female students in 4th grade, whereas shuttle data were found to be significant in male students (p<0.05). When the 5th grade students were examined, the height and body weight were found to be significant in male and female students and in the shuttle was found to be significant only in male students (p<0.05).
