This research is an observation for the relationships between Al-Andalus and Anatolia or Constantinople in the beginning ottoman empire and the fall of Granada, and studying the most important affects wich are emigration of the ben-daoud el-balawi family at galata one of the famous cities en Istanbul. The Islamic civilization in general and Al-Andalus in particular witnessed the birth of families in which their sons inherited the science, prestige, virtue and nobility since the Islamic conquest until the fall of Granada. The amount of our effort in this research is to delve into the feature of the phenomenon of scientific families of the Andalusian immigrant not just in the neighboring countries of Maghreb, but even in the Islamic orient and exactly to the country of Anatolia. During the reign of the Kingdom of Granada, scientific families appeared that contributed to the intellectual, social and political life of Andalusia. Perhaps their founding did not come out of nowhere, but came together with a combination of influential factors and direct circumstances. Therefore, we have chosen to stand on the feature of this phenomenon and models of families who migrated between these two distant cities: Guadix from al-andalus and Istanbul especially Daoud el-balawi family

Abstract

This research is an observation for the relationships between Al-Andalus and Anatolia or Constantinople in the beginning ottoman empire and the fall of Granada, and studying one of the most important effects which is the emigration of the ben-Daoud el-Balawi family to Galata, one of the famous cities in Istanbul. The Islamic civilization in general, and Andalusia in particular, witnessed the birth of groups of people or certain families who inherited knowledge, prestige, grace and brilliance from the Islamic conquest till the fall of Granada and even after it; Ibn Khaldun was among those who observed and considered this phenomenon; Where he used this term in different places from his introduction, especially when talking about his structural style related to power and ethnicity, he also introduces us to the origins of these families, their foundations, factors of their formation, and their extinction. Enlightened families emerged in the Kingdom of Granada and they contributed to intellectual, social and political life, and these families emerged due to many factors that can be summarized in proportions, interest in science, wealth, prestige and cleverness, in addition to the transmission of the bond between the sons and fathers with keeping the name of the founder of the house. These families faded and disappeared until they vanished, either because of internal political circumstances such as conspiracies and intrigues or because of external circumstances such as wars with the Spaniards where members of these families were killed or migrated such as Bani Sayyid al-Nas and Bani Dawood, the subject of our study.
