Abstract
The inhibitive properties of uracil have been investigated against Steel, zinc and lead in acidic Solutions (1 M HC1). The efficiency is attributed mainly to the presence of N and O atoma as active centers for adsorption of the organie molecule onto the metallic surfaces.
