Liselerde Okuyan Öğrencilerin Okul Müdürüne İlişkin Metaforik Algıları

Özet

Bu araştırma, liselerde okuyan öğrencilerin okul müdürlerine ilişkin düşüncelerini metaforlar aracılığıyla tespit ederken aynı zamanda Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Ortaöğretim Kurumları Yönetmeliğinde okul müdürü görev ve sorumluluklarına ilişkin tanımlamalar ile öğrencilerin okul müdürleri algıları arasında uygunluk olup olmadığını belirlemeye çalışmıştır. Bu amaçla katılımcı öğrencilere “Okul müdürü .................... benzer; çünkü ....................” gibi yarı yapılandırılmış bir sorunun altına elli (50) metafordan oluşan örnek bir tablo sunulmuştur. Katılımcılar, 2017–2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Antalya’da bulunan liselerde okuyan öğrencilerden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada farklı okul türleri dikkate alınarak çeşitlilik sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sağlıklı yürütülebilmesi için İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'nden izinler alınmıştır. Araştırmadan ulaşılan sonuçlara göre katılımcıların okul müdürlerine ilişkin genel algıları olumsuzdur. Bütün katılımcılar tarafından ortak olarak en fazla sayıda üretilen 10 metafor sırasıyla; Disiplin Makinesi, Öğretim Lideri, Gardiyan, Teknik Direktör, Diktatör, Otoriter Güç, Beyin, Kral, Çoban, Gemi Kaptanı olmuştur. Metaforların kategorik olarak sınıflandırılması sonucu “sert ve baskıcı olma, kategorisinde en fazla sayıda metafor tercihinde bulunmuşlardır. Katılımcılar, en az “aydınlatıcılık”, “değerli varlık olma” ve “yetiştiren şekli veren” kategorilerinde metafor üretmişlerdir.

Abstract

This research tried to determine the perceptions of school principals regarding the school principals through the metaphors and also to determine whether the definitions related to the duties and responsibilities of the school principals are in accordance with the perceptions of the school principals perceptions in the Regulation of the Ministry of Education secondary education institutions. For this purpose, the participating students, “Director of the school ............ similar; ...........” a sample table of fifty (50) metaphors is presented under a semi-structured problem. The participants consist of high schools in Antalya in 2017 – 2018 academic year. In this study, different types of schools were taken into consideration. Permission has been obtained from the Provincial Directorate of National Education to carry out the research in a healthy way. According to the results obtained from the survey, the general perceptions of the school principals of the participants are negative. Among the 10 metaphors produced by all participants, the highest number was the discipline Machine, Teaching Leader, Keeper, Technical Director, Dictator, Authoritarian Power, Brain, King, Shepherd, Ship Captain, Respectively. As a result of categorical classification of metaphors “being hard and oppressive", have been preferred most The participants produced metaphors in categories such as “enlightenment”, “being valuable” and “educating”.
