ECONOMİC STRUCTURES İNHERİTED FROM THE OTTOMAN EMPİRE TO THE REPUBLİC OF TURKEY

Özet

Türkiye Cumhuriyetinin, kuruluş yıllarındaki, ekonomik durumunu incelemeden önce Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’ndan kalan ekonomik unsurların ana hatlarını tespit etmek gerekmektedir. Cumhuriyetin kuruluş yılları ekonomisi, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’ndan devralınan iktisadi yapıya dayanmaktadır. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nda üretim tarıma dayalıydı. Bu nedenle sanayi gelişememiş ve kendi içine kapanmış olarak tamamen küçük üretim birimleri halinde, ülke içinde dağınık olarak yer almış bulunmaktaydı. Ayrıca sermaye birikiminin ise çok ciddi boyutta azınlıkların ve yabancı sermayenin elinde olduğu görülmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, Cumhuriyetin kuruluş döneminde ekonomi politikalarına yön veren, Osmanlı’dan devralınan ekonomik yapının kısa bir çözümlemesini ortaya koymaktır.

Abstract

Republic of Turkey, in the foundation stage, the remaining economic structure from the Ottoman Empire in examining the economic situation, economic factors must firstly to identify as the framework. The economy of the foundation years of the Republic is based on the economic structure taken over from the Ottoman Empire. Production in the Ottoman Empire was based on agriculture. For this reason, the industry has not developed and has taken part in the country as a completely small production units, scattered within itself. It is seen that capital accumulation is in the hands of very serious minorities and foreign capital. The aim of this study is to present a brief analysis of the economic structure taken over from the Ottoman Empire which shaped the economy during the foundation of the Republic.
