Preference Reasons of Vocational Collage Students and Expectations from the Department: The Example of Bingöl University

Özet

Yapılan bu çalışmada Bingöl üniversitesi teknik bilimler meslek yüksek okul öğrencilerinin, bölümleri tercih nedenleri ve bölümden beklentileri araştırılmıştır. Teknik bilimler meslek yüksek okulda bulunan, İnşaat teknolojileri, bilgisayar teknolojileri, Mekatronik, elektronik haberleşme, Elektrik ve peyzaj ve süs bitkileri olmak üzere toplam da altı bölümde ve 296 öğrenci üzerinde çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen çalışma sonucunda teknik bilimler meslek yüksek okul öğrencilerinin, kendilerine yönetilen sorulara bölüm tercih nedeni, yüzdelik oran olarak %60.81 bölüm ilgisinden, bölümden beklentileri ise %46.96 oranında dikey geçiş sınavı ( DGS) ile, ilgi duyduğu bölümün lisans programına geçmek olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract

In this study, Bingöl University technical sciences vocational high school students were searched for the reasons and preferences of their departments. A total of 296 students were employed in six departments, including construction technology, computer technology, mechatronics, electronic communication, electricity and landscaping and ornamental plants, all of which are in the technical sciences. As a result of the work carried out, it was concluded that vocational high school students of the technical sciences had to pass to the undergraduate program which they were interested in, with the questions related to the department preferred, 60.81% as a percentile, and 46.96%
