ÖZEL EĞİTİM VE REHABİLİTASYON HİZMETLERİNDE AİLE EĞİTİMİNİN ÖNEMİ

Özet

Özel eğitimde, erken eğitim; özel eğitimin en temel ilkesidir. Bu nedenle, çocuğun özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon hizmetlerine ihtiyaç duyduğu sağlık ve eğitim kurullarınca belirlendiğinde; aile, çocuğunun durumu konusunda bilgilendirilmeli ve özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon hizmetlerini veren kurumlara yönlendirilmelidir. Özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon kurumları ise özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon hizmetlerinden yararlanan bireylerin ailelerini vermiş olduğu hizmetlerin dışında tutamaz. Çünkü kurumda verilen eğitim ve rehabilitasyon hizmetlerine ailenin de dahil edilmesi, verilen hizmetlerin etkililiğini artırdığı gibi sonucun daha etkin ve verimli alınmasını hızlandırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada özel, özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon hizmetlerine aile katılımının sağlanmasının önemi üzerinde durulmuştur

Abstract

Early education in special education is basic principle ofspecial education. Due this fact, when it is determined the child needspecial education and rehabilitation services by health andeducational boards, family must be informed about the child’s statusand they must be referred to the institutions that deliver specialeducation and rehabilitation services.Special education and rehabilitation agencies can not apart thefamilies of the special education and rehabilitation service users.Involvement of the families to the education and rehabilitationservices contributes the efficacy of the services and help to reach theresults as soon as possible.Within this study, importance of the family involvement in specialeducation and rehabilitation services is described
