Özet

Semra Özdamar, kitaplaştırdığı iki öykü kitabı, bir piyes ve bir kurgusal biyografi türündeki eseri ile Türk edebiyatına katkı sağlamış isimlerden biridir. Hababam Sınıfı adlı sinema filmindeki Semra Öğretmen rolü ile hafızalara kazınmasına rağmen, yazar kimliği ile de bir dönem adından söz ettiren Özdamar, eserlerinde bilhassa kadın karakterler üzerinden toplumun aksayan yönlerini öne çıkarmıştır. İncelediğimiz eserlerde hemen her kesimden kadının kendisini birey olarak ifade etmedeki zorlu mücadelesi ortaya konulurken, toplumun değer yargılarındaki samimiyet de sorgulanmaktadır.

Abstract

Semra Özdamar is one of the forgotten names in Turkish literature with his two short story books, one play and one fictional biography. Although he was remembered for his role as Semra Teacher in the movie Hababam Sınıfı, Özdamar, who made a name for himself for a time with his author identity, highlighted the disruptive aspects of society especially through female characters. In the works we examine, the struggle of women from all walks of expression to express themselves as individuals is put forward and the sincerity in the value judgments of the society is questioned.
