Abstract

The length of the fingers’ reflection on personal behavior and inclination to an area of concentration is an emerging research study. In this experiment, digital pictures of left and right palms of 124 subjects (70 women – 54 men) were taken. Selecting p<0.05, a strong correlation between quantitative and equally-weighted parameters were found from the right hand of subjects. Based on this outcome, an expert system is designed to provide information about tendency to quantitative, verbal or equally-weighted concepts of people. This system would provide insights about person’s ability in those three different areas (quantitative, verbal, and equally-weighted concepts) and help them to choose a major for their education and also will help employers during the selection of their employees.
