GENÇ YETİŞKİNLERDE MUTLULUĞUN MANEVİYAT VE KANAAT AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı genç yetişkinlerin mutluluğunu maneviyat ve kanaat açısından incelemektir. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu 18-25 yaş aralığında bulunan 158 genç yetişkin oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Oxford Mutluluk Ölçeği Kısa Formu, Maneviyat Ölçeği ve Kanaat Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS 21 İstatistik Programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız örneklem t testi, korelasyon analizi ve çoklu regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara göre genç yetişkinlerin mutluluk düzeyleri cinsiyete göre farklılaşmaktadır. Mutluluk ile maneviyat ve kanaat arasında pozitif yönde ve anlamlı düzeyde ilişki saptanmıştır. Maneviyat ve kanaat bir arada genç yetişkinlerin mutluluğunun % 15.4’ünü açıklamaktadır. Bulgular tartışılmış ve öneriler sunulmuştur.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is the investigation of the happiness of the young adults in terms of spirituality and contentment. The correlative investigation model was used in this research. A total of 158 participants who were young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 were included in the study. In this research Short Form of the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, Spirituality Scale and Contentment Scale were used. The data were analyzed through the SPSS 21 statistical software. In the data analysis, the multiple regression analysis, the correlation analysis and ındependent sample t-test have been used. According to results, happiness of the young adults differ according to gender. Positivity and meaningful relationships were determined between happiness and spirituality, contentment. According to the results of the regression analysis, it was found that spirituality and contentment highly (15.4 %) predicted to happiness of the young adults.
