Özet
Teknoloji çağını yaşadığımız 21. Yüzyılda bilginin üretilip, işlenmesi ve sonunda değerlendirilmesi süreçlerini başarı ile yerine getirebilen işletmeler maddi imkânları doğrultusunda bu çağı yaşayabilmektedir. Saymış olduğumuz süreçlerin tam anlamıyla yerine getirilmesi ise eğitimli iş gücünün teknolojik gelişmelere uyumu ile mümkün olabilmektedir. Bir başka deyişle yeterlilikleri tam olan bireylerin, kurumların rekabetlerinde etkin rol oynayacakları görülmektedir. Bu nokta da Meslek Yüksekokullarında okumakta olan öğrencilerin uygulamalı eğitimlerle desteklenerek mezun edilmeleri hem ara eleman ihtiyacının eğitimli bir şekilde karşılanmasını hem de ülkemizin rekabet gücünün artmasında Meslek Yüksekokullarının ne derecede önemli olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu bağlamda, bu çalışma 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim döneminde Selçuk Üniversitesi Çumra Meslek Yüksekokulunda okumakta olan öğrencilerin demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi ve sonucunda öğrencilerin eğitim sürecince karşılaştıkları sorunların genel anlamda analiz edilebilmesi için 325 Öğrenciye anket çalışması yapılarak uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen anket sonuçları SPSS paket programında kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.
Abstract
In the 21st century, when we live in the age of technology, businesses that can successfully fulfil the processes of producing, processing and eventually evaluating information can live in this age in terms of material means. The fulfilment of the above mentioned processes is possible through the adaptation of the educated workforce to the technological developments. In other words, it is predictable that qualified individuals will play an active role in the competitions of corporations. This point also shows how important role Vocational Schools take in the graduation of students who are studying there being supported by practical trainings, and eventually meet the demand for intermediate educated staff and increase the competitive power of our country. In this context, this study was carried out with 325 student questionnaire studies in order to determine the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the students studying at Chumra Vocational School of Selçuk University during 2016-2017 education period and eventually to analyse the problems that students encounter during the education process in general terms. The results of the questionnaires were evaluated using SPSS package program.
