Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, rekreatif amaçlı spor yapanların spora yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyete ve medeni duruma göre değerlendirilmesidir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmaya 79 kadın, 122 erkek masa tenisi oynayan toplamda 201 masa tenisi sporcusu gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Sporcuların spora yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek için “Spora Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (SYTÖ)” kullanılmıştır. Veriler normal dağılım gösterdiği için analizlerde parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, spora yönelik tutumu cinsiyete ve medeni duruma göre değerlendirmek için bağımsız örneklerde t-test analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, masa tenisi sporcularının sadece spora ilgi duyma alt boyutu puanlarında (t=2.65; p<0.05) cinsiyete göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğunu göstermiştir. Medeni duruma göre ise herhangi bir farklılık bulunamamıştır (p>0.05). Sonuç olarak, kadınların spora yönelik tutumlarında, erkeklere göre daha ilgili olduklarını söyleyebiliriz.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the attitudes towards the sport of athletes who do sport as a sportive recreation activity according to gender and marital status. In this respect, 79 female and 122 male playing table tennis totally 201 table tennis athletes participated in the study voluntarily. In order to determine the attitudes of the athletes towards sports, “The Attitude towards Sports Scale” was used. Since the data were distributed normally, parametric tests were used in the analyses. In the analysis of data, independent samplest-test analysis was used to evaluate the attitude towards sports according to gender and marital status. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the scores of the interest in sports subscale (t=2.65; p<0.05). There were no differences according to marital status (p>0.05). As a result, we can say that female's attitudes towards sports are more relevant than male.
