Özet
OzetÖzet Tüm dünyada sağlık çalışanlarına yönelik şiddet sağlık çalı-şanlarının en önemli iş güvenliği problemi olmuştur. Bu du-rum yurdumuzda da son yıllarda artan oranlarda görülmekte-dir. Beyaz KOD sisteminin devreye girmesine rağmen pek çok sözel hatta bazen fiziksel saldırının bildirilmemesi nede-niyle izleme kısmen gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada amaç hastanemizde yapılan beyaz kod bildirimlerini 2,5 yıllık bir süreç aralığında izleyerek ana nedenlerini tespit etmek ve nedene yönelik önlemleri tasarlamaktı. Yaptığımız analizde saldırıların %19 unun daha önce de benzer hareketleri olmuş davranış bozukluğu gösteren bireylerden kaynaklandığını gördük. Ancak daha çarpıcı olan sonuç hastaların %35 ının kanunsuz işlem yapma talebinin ret edilmesinden ötürü sal-dırganlaştığının bulunması oldu. Abstract
AbstractViolence against health workers all over the world has become the most impor-tant job security problem in the health sector. This problem is also observed in our co-untry with increasing ratios in the recent years. Although it becomes more visible after the introduction of the white code system still it seems that many verbal or even some-times physical attacks are not reported The purpose of this study is to follow up the white code notifications in our hos-pital in the range of a 2,5 year period to identify the main reasons via root-cause analy-ses and to design preventive measures. We found that %19 of the attacks were caused by individuals formerly identi-fied with similar behaviour disorders. But the more striking finding was that the 35% of the patients were found to be aggressive due to the rejection of their request to the un-lawful processing. In this study, all the results and root cause analysis were discussed.
