Özet
Giriş ve Amaç: Bu çalışma patoloji sonuçlarının belirlenen sürelerde çıkması, hasta memnuniyetinin, hizmet verimliliği ve hızın artırılması, zaman ve iş gücü kayıplarının önlenmesi amacıyla ilgili hekime, klinik idari sorumlularına ve hastalara bilgilendirmek için kısa mesaj gönderme uygulaması sunulmuştur. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma 01.03.2017-31.10.2017 tarihleri arasında Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Patoloji Kliniğinde tetkik sonuçlarına yönelik uygulanan Kısa Mesaj Sistemi (SMS) uygulamasının etkinliği değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma geriye dönük tanımlayıcı bir araştırma olup, veriler Microsoft Excel programında analiz edilmiştir. Kademeli SMS Uygulaması rapor süre aşımından itibaren ilk mesaj ilgili uzmana, 24 saat içinde rapor çıkmamışsa ikinci mesaj klinik idari sorumlusuna, 24 saat içinde hala rapor çıkmamışsa başhekim yardımcısına sırasıyla mesaj gönderilmektedir. Patoloji sonucu çıktığı zamanda hastalara standart formatta SMS bilgilendirme ve hatırlatma mesajı gönderimi uygulanmaktadır. Bulgular ve Sonuç: Çalışma sonucunda, az maliyetli, basit güncel teknoloji (cep telefonu- SMS) kullanılarak patoloji sonuçlarında süre aşımı olan tetkik raporu Mart ayında 756 iken, Ekim ayında 339’a düştüğü, patoloji sonuçlarındaki süre aşımı 8 ay içinde %10,5azalmıştır.
Abstract
Introduction and Objective: In this study, a short message sending application was presented to inform physicians, clinical management officers and patients about pathology results in the determined time, patient satisfaction, service efficiency and speed increase, and time and labor loss losses. Material and Method: The study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the Short Message System (SMS) application conducted in the Pathology Clinic of Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital, between the dates 01.03.2017 - 31.10.2017. The study is a retrospective descriptive research and the data is analyzed in Microsoft Excel. If the first message is not reported within 24 hours from the report time-out, the first message is sent to the clinical supervisor of the second message, if the report has not been released within 24 hours, the message is sent to the assistant physician. SMS information and reminder messages are sent to patients in standard format at the time of pathology. Findings and Conclusion: As a result of the study, it was found that the outpatient report of the pathology results was 756 in March while it fell to 339 in October and the time out in the pathology results was 10.5% in 8 months.
