Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, turizm eğitimi alan öğrencilerin yaratıcı drama yönteminin öğrenmedeki rolüne, ders sürecine ve duygu durumuna ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Otel yönetimi dersindeki konulara yönelik hazırlanan yaratıcı drama oturumları bir ders dönemi boyunca toplamda 11 hafta olmak üzere 33 saat uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri ders dönemi boyunca öğrencilerin yazdıkları katılımcı günlükleri; ders dönemi sonunda öğrencilerin yazdıkları mektuplar ve yarı yapılandırılmış sorularla öğrencilerle yüz yüze gerçekleştirilen görüşmeler aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımından yararlanılarak toplanan verilere içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda öğrenci görüşleri; öğrenme, ders süreci ve duygu durumu temaları altında toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, yaratıcı drama yönteminin mesleki eğitim konusunda elverişli bir zemin sunduğu ve yöntemden başka derslerde de yararlanılabileceği öne çıkmaktadır. Duyuşsal alanda, öğrenciler, yaratıcı yönteminin derslere severek ve isteyerek katıldıklarını ve ders sürecinde kendilerini mutlu, rahat ve öz güvenli hissettiklerini belirtmiştir
Abstract
This research aims to reveal the opinions of the students of tourism education about the role of creative drama method in learning, course process and mood. The creative drama sessions prepared for the subjects in the hotel management course were conducted for a total of 11 weeks and 33 hours during a course period. The data of the research are participant diaries written by the students during the course period; At the end of the semester, students' letters and semi-structured questions were obtained through face-to-face interviews. Content analysis was applied to the collected data by using a qualitative research approach. As a result of the analysis, students’ opinions; learning, lesson process, and mood. As a result of the research, the creative drama method provides a suitable ground for vocational education and the method can be used in other courses. In the effective field, the students stated that their creative method was willing and willing to participate in the lessons and they felt happy, comfortable and confident during the course.
