Özet
Bilim şenlikleri genellikle Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı okullar marifetiyle gerçekleştirilen ve TÜBİTAK tarafından desteklenen (bütçe, materyal vb.) bir araştırma ve proje çalışması etkinliğidir. Bilim şenliklerinin en önemli amacı öğrencilere farklı bakış açıları kazandırmak ve fen bilimleri alanına yönelik olumlu tutum geliştirmelerini sağlamaktır. Bu amaçla yapılan bu çalışmada, Kastamonu ilinde 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında gerçekleştirilen TÜBİTAK 4007 Bilim Şenliği projesi ilköğretim öğrencileri ve atölye liderlerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak organizasyon değerlendirme ve katılımcı değerlendirme ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu 10-11 Ekim 2018 tarihleri arasında bilim şenliğini ziyaret eden 1200 ilkokul ve ortaokul öğrenci ile yine aynı tarihlerde bilim şenliğinde görev yapan 50 kişilik atölye liderleri oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen çalışma sonuçları SPSS 23.0 programı kullanılmak suretiyle betimsel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda ilköğretim öğrencilerinin ve atölye liderlerinin oldukça yüksek düzeyde memnuniyet duydukları ve benzer projelerin tekrarlanması konusunda görüş belirttikleri belirlenmiştir.
Abstract
Science fairs are a research and project activity supported by TUBITAK (budget, material, etc.), which is organized by schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. The most important aim of science fairs are to provide students with different perspectives and to develop positive attitudes towards science. In this study conducted for this purpose, the TUBITAK 4007 science fair project which was conducted in the 2018-2019 academic year in Kastamonu province was examined in accordance with the opinions of primary and secondary school students and workshop leaders. Survey method was used in the research process. Organization evaluation and participant evaluation scales were used as data collection tools. The sample group of the study consists of 1200 primary and secondary school students who visited the science fair between 10-11 October 2018 and workshop leaders of 50 people who participated in the science fair on the same dates. The results of the study were subjected to descriptive analysis using SPSS 23.0 program. As a result of the study, it was determined that primary and secondary school students and workshop leaders were highly satisfied and expressed their opinion about the repetition of similar projects.
