Özet
Bu araştırmada, 2010 yılı Şubat-Mayıs ayları içerisinde 110 gün boyunca laboratuvarda gözlenen, iki dişi Sciurus anomalus (Anadolu sincabı)’un beslenme biyolojisine dayanmaktadır. Bu amaçla 46 adet besin çeşidi denenmiş olup, sincaplar bunlardan 26 çeşidini tercih etmiş ve yemiştir. Bu türe insana çok yakın oluşu nedeniyle zararlı olarak bakılamayacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.
Abstract
This study is based on the feeding biology of two female Sciurus anomalus observed in the laboratory for 110 days between February-May 2010. For this purpose, forty-six types of food has been tested on the squirrels and they preferred to eat twenty-six types of them. It has been concluded that this species is not harmful as they are friendly toward humans.
