KÜTAHYA’DA FAALİYET GÖSTEREN KÜÇÜK VE ORTA ÖLÇEKLİ MOBİLYA İŞLETMELERİNDE TASARIM-ÜRETİM SÜRECİ ETKİLEŞİMİ ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

A STUDY ON INTERACTION OF DESIGN AND PRODUCTION PROCESS IN SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZE FURNITURE BUSSINESSES OPERATING IN KUTAHYA

Özet

Bu araştırmada, Türkiye mobilya sektöründe faaliyet gösteren küçük ve orta ölçekli işletmelerin mobilya tasarımı, üretim süreci, kapasite kullanımı gibi konularda karşılaşılan sorunların tespit edilmesi ve işletmelerin tasarım ve teknolojik alt yapısının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu maksatla, Kütahya il merkezinde faaliyet gösteren küçük ve orta ölçekli atölye tipi üretim yapan mobilya işletmeleri araştırma kapsamına alınmış olup, bu işletmelerin yetkililerine araştırma anketi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler istatistiksel yöntemlerle değerlendirilmiş olup, sonuçta işletmelerin büyük bir bölümünde tasarımcı istihdam edilmediği ve kopya tasarımlara yönelindiği, üniversite-sanayi işbirliğinin yeterince geliştirilmediği tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed at fixing the problems appeared in such situations as furniture design, production process, the use of capacity of the small and medium size managements operating in the furniture sector of Turkey and determining the effects of the design and technological infrastructure of the businesses. For this reason, furniture enterprises carrying out small and medium size workshop type production in Kütahya centrum have been included to the research and have been carried out questionnaire to the authorized people of these businesses. The data obtained from the research has been evaluated statistically and it has been discovered that the majority of the businesses did not employ designers and used copy design and the cooperation between university and industry was not built up.
