Özet
Değerler eğitiminde Sosyal Bilgiler dersi büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Öğretmenlerin ve öğrencilerin derslerde kullandıkları ve dersi takip etmelerini sağlayan birincil kaynak olan ders kitapları ve dersin içeriğinin oluşturulduğu öğretim programlarında, değerlere ne kadar yer verildiği büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu araştırma Ortaokul Sosyal Bilgiler dersi 5. sınıf öğretim programı ve ders kitaplarında yer alan milli ve evrensel değerlerin nasıl bir dağılım gösterdiğini belirlemek ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerine verilecek değer eğitiminin önemini ve gerekliliğini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada kullanılan Sosyal Bilgiler 5. Sınıf ders kitabı Anadol Yayıncılık tarafından 2018 yılında basılmış ve halen kullanılmaktadır. Araştırma tarama türünde nitel bir araştırma olarak tasarlanmış ve veri toplama aracı olarak doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programı ve ders kitabının incelenmesi sonucunda milli ve evrensel değerlerin program geneline yayılmaya çalışıldığı, her öğrenme alanında çeşitli değerlere yer verildiği görülmüştür.
Abstract
Social Studies course has a great importance in values education. Textbooks which are the primary source for the teachers and students to follow and follow the lesson, and how much the values are given to the values in the curriculums where the content of the course is formed are of great importance. This research aims to determine the distribution of national and universal values in the 5th grade curriculum and textbooks and to reveal the importance and necessity of the value education to be given to 5th grade students. The Social Studies Grade 5 textbook used in this study was published by Anadol Publishing in 2018 and is still in use.The research was designed as a qualitative research in thetype of surveyanddocumentanalysis was used as a data collection tool. As a result of the analysis of the Social Studies curriculum and textbook, it has been observed that national and universal values are tried to be spread throughout the program, andvalues areincluded in each learning area.
