Özet
Batı metafizik düşünce geleneği etkisini günümüze kadar devam ettirirken “öteki”, “ötekilik”ve “ötekileştirme” pratiklerinin kullanımı Aydınlanma hareketi sonrası artış göstermiştir.Aklı hayatın merkezine alarak kendisini merkezde konumlandıran Batılı özne dışında herşey nesneleşmiştir, ötekileştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Yılmaz Güney’in Yol filminiötekileştirme bağlamında değerlendirmektir. Bu bağlamda Yol filminde neyin ötekileştirildiğieleştiriye tabi tutulurken, Güney’in Yol filminde Alman şarkiyatçılığının izleri sürülmüştür.
Abstract
While the tradition of Western metaphysics has continued its influence until today, thepractices of "other", "otherness" and "otherization” increased after the Enlightenmentmovement. Everything, except the Western subject that places itself in the center by takingrationality center of life, is objectified and otherized. The purpose of this study is to evaluateYılmaz Güney's Road Film in the context of German Orientalism. Within this context, whilewhat had been marginalized in the movie The Road was criticized, German orientalism weretraced back, too.
