Özet
Çalışmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin matematiksel problem türlerinde ortaya koydukları performanslarını belirlemek için bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Literatür incelendiğinde ölçek geliştirme çalışmalarının çoğunda ortak olarak belirtilen aşamalar; madde havuzu oluşturma, uzman görüşü, deneme uygulaması ve geçerlik- güvenirlik aşamalarıdır. Bu çalışmada içerisinde belirtilen aşamaların da yer aldığı Turgut & Baykul (2015) tarafından ifade edilen aşamalar kullanılmıştır. “Matematiksel Problem Türleri Testi” öğrencilerin literatürde geçen matematiksel problem türlerinden çözebildikleri veya çözmekte zorlandıkları problem türlerini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Test, alt boyutlarını da oluşturan, literatürden yola çıkarak belirlenen 8 matematiksel problem türünü içeren toplam 30 çoktan seçmeli maddeden oluşmaktadır. Belirlenen problem türleri ve aynı zamanda testin alt boyutları, “ayırma”, “birleştirme”, “çarpma”, “karşılaştırma”, “parçalamalı bölme”, “kalanlı bölme”, “çok adımlı”, “rutin olmayan” problemlerdir. Sonuç olarak “Matematiksel Problem Türleri Testi”nin geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu ortaya konmuştur.
Abstract
The aim of the study is to develop a scale to determine the performances of middle school students in mathematical problem types. When the literature is examined, the stages common lyincited in most of the scale development studies; item pooling, expert opinion, trial application and validity-reliability stages. In this study, the stages expressed by Turgut Baykul (2015), in which the stages specified, are also used. The “Mathematical Problem Types Test” aims to identify the types of problems that students can solve or have difficulty in solving from the types of mathematical problems mentioned in the literature. The test consists of a total of 30 multiple choice items, which also comprise 8 types of mathematical problems determined from the literature, which also constitute its sub-dimensions. The types of problems identified as well as the sub-dimensions of the test are "separation", "merge", "multiplication", "comparison", "split division", "remainder division", "multi-step", "non-routine" problems. As a result, the "Mathematical Problem Types Test" has been revealed to be valid and reliable.
