Özet
Türk edebiyatında roman ve tiyatro, yüz elli yılı aşkın bir süredir edebiyatın önemli türleri arasındadır Tanzimat dönemi edebiyatında, bu iki türün örnekleri ilk defa verilmiş ve bazı romanlardan istifade edilerek sahne hayatı zenginleştirilmiştir. Türk edebiyatında ilk defa Recaizade Mahmut Ekrem, romandan tiyatroya aktarım örneğini Atala yahut Amerika Vahşileri adıyla verir. Romandan tiyatro çıkarma, sonraki dönemlerde de uygulanmaya devam edilmiş, özellikle okuyucuda iz bırakan ünlü romanlar, tiyatro vasıtasıyla daha geniş kitlelere ulaştırılmış, mesajları seyirciye doğrudan verilebilmiştir.
Abstract
In Turkish literature, novel and theater have been the most important genres of literature for over 150 years. In the Tanzimat period literature, examples of these two genres were given for the first time and even the theater was enriched making using ome novels. For the first time in Turkish literature, Recaizade Mahmut Ekrem gives the example of the transfer from the novel to the theater under the name of Atala or the Wilds of America. The adaptation of the novel to the theater continued to be applied in the next periods, especially the famous novels that left their mark on the reader, were conveyed to a wider audience through theater, and their messages could be given directly to the audience.
