Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, geçici koruma kapsamındaki Suriyeli öğrencilerin Türk Eğitim sistemine entegrasyonu sürecinde yaşadıkları iletişim sorunlarına ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımı kapsamında Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okullarda öğrenimine devam eden 8 Suriyeli öğrenciyle görüşme yapılmıştır.Öğrencilerin seçiminde amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Gaziantep merkez ilçelerindeki (Şahinbey, Şehitkâmil) ortaokullarda öğrenimine devam eden 12-15 yaş arası Suriyeli öğrencilerden örnekleme alınmıştır. Görüşme, derinlemesine bilgi almak amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formatında yapılmıştır. Sesli olarak kayıt altına alınan görüşme, yazıya aktarılarak betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Betimsel analiz sonucunda Suriyeli öğrencilerin yazılı iletişim kurarken sorunlar yaşadığı, yazma hızlarının Türk öğrencilerle örtüşmediği, kendilerini ifade etmekten çekindikleri ve yanlış yapmaktan korktukları aynı zamanda Türkçeye yeterince hâkim olmamalarının yaşanılan iletişimsel sorunların kaynağı olduğu söylenebilir.
Abstract
The goal of this research is to determine the views about the communication problems during the integration process to the Turkish Education System of the Syrian students in the scope of temporary protection. In the scope of the qualitative research approach, 8 Syrian students studying in the schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education were interviewed. In the selection of the students, purposeful sampling method was used. In the spring term of the academic year of 2019, Syrian students aged 12-15 years who were ongoing secondary schools in Gaziantep central districts (Şahinbey, Şehitkâmil) were sampled.The interview was done in the semi-structured format so as to get in-dept information. The recorded interview was transcribed and analyzed by using the descriptive analysis method. As a conclusion of the descriptive analysis, it can be said that Syrian students have communication problems in writing, writing speeds don’t coincide with Turkish students, they hesitate to express themselves and fear of making mistakes, but also the source of communicative problems was stated owing to not being sufficiently mastered Turkish.
