THE ORDER OF POSTADJUNCTS IN NOUN PHRASES IN BEHDINI KURDISH

Abstract

There are two kinds of postadjuncts (determiners, modifiers, specifiers, attributives, etc) innoun phrases in Behdini Kurdish: attached morphemes and separable morphemes. This studytries to investigate how postadjuncts are ordered when there are more than one postadjunct. Thestudy was carried out in accordance with the descriptive analytical approach.The study comprises two sections besides an introduction and conclusions. The first sectiondeals with how similar postadjuncts accompany each other and are ordered, whereas the secondsection tackles how different postadjuncts accompany each other and are ordered. The researchends with some conclusions.
