Özet
Türkiye’de 3,5 milyondan fazla Suriyeli geçici koruma statüsü altında korunmaktadır ve bu bireylerin %45’inden fazlası çocuktur. Bu çocukları bekleyen en önemli tehlikelerden biri çocuk işçiliğidir. Çalışmalar, göçmen çocukların uzun çalışma saatleri ile tehlikeli sektörlerde çalıştıklarını göstermektedir. Bireylerin hayatlarının erken dönemlerinde yaşadıkları tüm deneyimler geleceklerini ve yaşadıkları toplumu etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle çocukların çalışma hayatına katılımı engellenmeli ve uygun eğitime erişimleri sağlanmalıdır.
Abstract
Over 3.5 million Syrians are protected under temporary protection status in Turkey and more than 45% of them are children. Child labor is one of the most important threat for these children. Studies show that migrant children are working in hazardous sectors with long working hours. All the experiences of individuals in their early life affect their future and the society they live in. For this reason, children's participation in working life should be prevented and appropriate education should be provided.
