Özet
Bu çalışmada, İlk Çağ’da İyonya Okulunun sorgulama konusu yaptığı arkhe tartışması sadece Thales ve Anaksimenes üzerinden ele alınacak ve günümüzdeki insan-doğa ilişkilerinin sorunsallaşmış olduğu gerçeğinden de yola çıkılarak onların arkhe olarak kabul ettikleri elementlerin şimdilerde unutulmuş olduğu meselesi gündeme getirilecektir. Hava ve su’yun kutsal olarak kabul edildiği, yaşamın kendisinin değerli görüldüğü Antik Yunan düşünüş biçiminin, yaşamı ve onun öğelerini olumsuzlayan çeşitli felsefeler ve öğretilerle temelden farklı olduğuna değinildikten sonra, bu tutumun kendisinden ve tarihsel süreçteki insan eylemlerinin de yol açtığı ekolojik krizden bahsedilecek, ve insan varlığının bu süreçle birlikte yaşama ve onun öğelerine karşı bir yabancılaşma ve unutma durumu içerisinde olduğu belirtilecektir.
Abstract
In this study, the Arkhe debate that the Ionian School discussed in the Antiquity will be discussed only through Thales and Anaximenes, and that today's human-nature relations are considered to be problematic, and that elements, which they regard as arkhe, are forgotten today will be raised. After mentioning that air and water are considered sacred and the ancient Greek way of thinking that life itself is deemed valuable is fundamentally different from various philosophies and teachings that negate life and its elements, the ecological crisis which is caused by this attitude itself and human actions in the historical process will be mentioned, and therefore, with this process, it will be stated that human existence is in a state of alienation and forgetting against life and its elements.
