Özet
Bu çalışmada, Türkiye ekonomisinde iktisadi büyüme ve işsizlik oranı arasındaki ilişki 1970-2010 dönemi için ampirik olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışma, önce teorik olarak bilgi sunmakta daha sonrada ekonometrik analizler ile büyüme ve işsizlik oranları arasındaki ilişkinin yönünü belirlemeye çalışmaktadır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, Türkiye’de 1970-2010 dönemi için büyüme oranından işsizliğe doğru tek yönlü bir nedensellik ilişkisi bulunmuştur. Bu çerçevede, Türkiye ekonomisinde iktisadi büyüme, işsizliği etkileyen faktörler içinde yer almakta ancak işsizliğin yüksek veya düşük oranda gerçekleşmesi ekonomik büyümenin oluşmasında herhangi bir etkiye sahip bulunmamaktadır
Abstract
In this study the relationship between economic growth and unemployment rate in Turkish economy has been revealed empirically for the period 1970 2010 The study has provided a theoretical information before and then it has determined the direction of the relationship between the unemployment rates and economic growth with the economic analysis According to the results of the study one way casual relationship from the growth rate towards the unemployment was found in the period of 1970 2010 in Turkish In this context the economic growth is a factor affecting unemployment in Turkish economy but high and low rate in unemployment have no effect on the arising of economic growth Key Words : Economic Growth Unemployment Granger Causality Test Co integration Test
