Özet
Her sanat eseri, içinden çıktığı toplumun karakteristik özelliklerini taşımaktadır. Bu özelliklerde milli tefekkür, hissiyat ve refleksler yatmaktadır. Divan şiiri, Osmanlı döneminde ortaya çıkan en olgun sanatlardan biridir. Bu çalışma göstermektedir ki Divan şiiri birçok açıdan kaynaktır. Tarihî hadiselere şahsi ve toplumsal yorumlar sunabilmekte; olayların arkasındaki psikolojik gerçekliğe ışık tutabilmekte; Osmanlı Devlet ve toplumunun tefekkür, hissiyat ve reflekslerini yansıtabilmektedir. Bunlarla birlikte bu çalışma, bazı konuları da sorgulamaktadır: Divan şiiri belirli bir zaman diliminde ortaya çıkmış ve sönmüş bir sanat mıdır? Bugünkü devlet, toplum ve ferde söyleyecek bir sözü kalmamış mıdır? Divan şiirinden bugüne yansıyan Osmanlıya ait esaslar nelerdir ve bu çağda yaşayan insanlara tevarüs etmemiş midir? Bu sorular eşliğinde örnek olaylar üzerinde incelemeler ve yorumlar geliştirilmiştir. Divan şiirindeki söz konusu hususlar, dönemin mensur metinleri tarafından desteklenmektedir.
Abstract
Each work of art has the characteristics of the society that it emerges from. These elements include the national thinking, feelings and reflex actions. Diwan poetry and Tawārīkh-i Āl-i Othmān are one of the most mature works of art which reflects these attributes of the Ottoman. This study which about 16th Diwan poetries shows that Diwan poetry serves as a source in many aspects. It makes valuable individual and social contributions to historical events, sheds some light on the psychological reality behind events, and reflects the thinking, feelings and reflex actions of the Ottoman State and society. Tawārīkh-i Āl-i Othmān, on the other side, shares the viewpoint that the poet represents. This study also examines some further subjects: Is Diwan poetry an art that had emerged in a certain time and died down after a period? Does it still have anything to say to current state, society and individuals? What are the aspects Diwan poetry reveal today about the Ottoman, and weren’t they inherited by modern Turkish people? In view of these questions, sample events are examined and analyzed. Literary prose of the relevant period supports what Diwan poetry points out.
