Cengiz Aytmatov’un Beyaz Gemi Romanında Halk Edebiyatı Motifleri

Özet

Cengiz Aytmatov, Kırgız edebiyatının önemli yazarlarındandır. Cengiz Aytmatov eserlerinde yaşadığı coğrafyanın tarihi ve kültürel izlerine yer vererek eserlerine milli ve çağını aşan bir nitelik kazandırmıştır. Eserlerin özünü masallar, halk hikâyeleri ve efsaneler oluşturur. Sanatçı kurguyu oluştururken halk edebiyatına ait bu motifleri eserine ustaca yerleştirmiştir. Bu makalenin inceleme alanı Cengiz Aytmatov’un Beyaz Gemi romanı olacaktır. Beyaz Gemi romanında yer alan halk edebiyatına ait motifler tek tek ele alınmıştır. Romanda yer alan bu motiflerin halk edebiyatı geleneğindeki yeri incelenmiş, romanın vücut bulmasına yaptığı katkı ayrıntılı bir şekilde örnekler gösterilerek açıklanmıştır. Bu çalışmada Aytmatov’un eserlerinin kurgusunda, halk edebiyatı geleneğinde kullanılan motiflerin etkileri incelenmiştir.

Abstract

Chinghiz Aitmatov is one of important writers of Kirghiz literature. In his works, he brought a quality, which was national and went beyond his epoch, to his work, by giving place to historical and cultural tracks of geography where he lived. Tales, folk stories and legends constitute essence of his works. While the writer was building fiction (construct), he placed these motifs belonging to folk literature into his work masterly. Area of investigation of this article will be the novel of White Ship by Chinghiz Aitmatov. We addressed motifs belonging to folk literature in the novel of White Ship one by one. We examined place of these motifs in the novel in tradition of folk literature, and in a detailed manner explained contribution that these motifs made to come the novel into existence, by showing examples. In this study, we examined effects of motifs, which were used in the tradition of folk literature, on fiction (construct) of Aitmatov’s works.
