Özet
В данной краткой статье приводятся различные сведения о роде занятий жителей Нахчывана, в т.ч. и промысловых занятий, о распределении населения по роду занятий, о промысловом производстве в городе. Основными источниками для вычерпывания сведений по этим вопросам стал ряд изданий XIX в.Приведенные материалы убедительно доказывают, что русско-каджарские и русско-османские войны первой трети XIX столетия нанесли тяжелейший урон на социально-экономическую жизнь как всего Азербайджана, так и отдельных регионов. В числе последних и город Нахичеван долгое время не смог полностью оправиться от полученных ударов и восстановить нормальную жизнь.Но после прекращения военных баталий г.Нахичеван постепенно становится одним из важнейших приграничных пунктов не только Иреванской губернии, но и всего Южного Кавказа, хотя до былой бурноразвивающейся экономической жизни было еще очень далеко.
Abstract
This brief article provides various information on occupation (activity/engagement) types of urban population of Nakhichevan, including professions (jobs), on the distribution of the population by profession, and on mining industry in the city. The main sources for scooping up information on these issues were a number of publications of the XIXth century and the early XXth century. The cited materials convincingly prove that the Russian-Kadjar and Russian-Ottoman wars of the first thirty-year part of the 19th century caused serious damages to the socio-economic life of both the whole of Azerbaijan and other regions. Among the latter, the city of Nakhichevan for a long time could not fully recover from the blows received and could not restore normal life.In this context, after the cessation of military battles (operations), although the city of Nakhichevan gradually became one of the most important border points not only in the Irevan province, but also in the entire South Caucasus, it was still very far from the former booming economic life.
