Özet
George Orwell’ın 1984 adlı distopyası üzerinden iktidar ve ideolojilerin eğitim üzerinde nasıl bir belirleyiciliğe sahip olduğunu göstermek bu çalışmanın asıl amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bunu yaparken iktidar, ideoloji ve eğitim arasındaki karşılıklı ilişkiler ve bu ilişkinin yönü üzerinde durulmuştur. Bir yanda iktidarların hangi yöntemlerle ideolojilerini benimsetmeye çalıştığı belirlenmiş diğer yanda ise bu yöntemlerin günümüzdeki geçerlilikleri sorgulanmış ve bu eğitim sisteminin yaratacağı bireyin hangi niteliklere sahip olacağı vurgulanmıştır.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to show how determination power and ideologies have an impact on education according to George Orwell's 1984 dystopia. While doing that,relationships among determination power, ideology and education were pointed out. On one hand, it was determined how the determination power tried to force its ideology, on the other hand, the reliabilities of those methods in today’s World were questioned and it was also stated what qualities the individual shaped by that education system would have.
