Zühd hayatının başlangıcından günümüze, tasavvufî hayatın bütün dönemlerinde, tasavvufa ve tasavvufî hayatın içerisinde bulunan Müslümanlara mütemadiyen haklı ve haksız eleştiriler yöneltilmiştir. Bu eleştirilerin iyi niyetli ve yapıcı olanlarını saygı ile karşılamak gerekir. Ancak tasavvufun hakikatlerini bilmeyenlerin, kasıtlı ya da bilinçsizce yaptığı itham ve iftira derecesine varan eleştirilerin de hiçbir haklı sebebi yoktur. Serrâc birçok konuda döneminin sûfîlerini yanlışları sebebiyle eleştirmiştir. Aynı zamanda, tasavvuf ilminin inceliklerini bilmeyenlerin yaptığı mesnetsiz eleştirilerin de, haksız ve bilgisizce yapıldığını ortaya koymuştur. Bu makalemizde, Serrâc’ın tasavvufun anlaşılması zor konularından biri olan “şathiyyât” konusundaki görüşlerine, eleştirilerine ve yapılan bilinçsiz eleştirilere verdiği cevaplara yer vereceğiz.

Abstract

Abstract From the beginning of the Zuhd period to our day, during all instances of mystical life, people of Sufism and Sufism itself have constantly been subjected to rightful and unjust criticism. Among these, the well-intentioned and constructive ones should be respected. However, there is no justification for the deliberate or unintentional criticisms by people ignorant of the truths of Sufism, which reach the level of accusation and slander. Serrâc has criticized in many instances the Sufis of his period for their mistakes. At the same time, he has also shown that the unfounded criticism of those who do not know the qualities of Sufism is unjust and ignorant. In this article, we will include the views and criticisms of Serrâc on the topic of "Sathiyyat", one of the difficult subjects of Sufism, and his answers to insensible criticisms.
