Özet

Teknolojinin hayatımıza girmesiyle birlikte eğitim alanında da bir takım değişikliklerin yapılması kaçınılmaz hale gelmiştir. Özellikle FATİH projesi ile birlikte eğitime teknoloji entegrasyonu, okulların akıllı tahtalarla donatılması ve öğrencilere tablet dağıtılması eğitimde gelenekselliğin ötesine geçen bir atılım olmuştur. Tüm bu atılımlar, eğitime gerek okul içerisinde gerekse okul dışında kullanılacak çevrimiçi öğrenme nesnelerinin oluşturulmasını zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Öğrenme nesnelerinin eğitimde kullanılmaya başlanmasıyla birlikte bunların avantajları ve dezavantajları da sorgulanması gereken bir konu haline gelmiştir. Bunların yararlarının ve sınırlılıklarının öğrenilmesi de öğretmenlerin bu platformları kullanıp kullanmamalarıyla doğru orantılı olan bir durumdur. Bu nitel çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de FATİH projesi ile birlikte kurulmuş olan Eğitim Bilişim Ağı’nın (EBA) öğretmenler tarafından nasıl görüldüğünü ve nasıl değerlendirildiğini tespit etmektir. Bu kapsam da 14 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmeni ile çalışılmıştır. Öğretmenlere EBA platformu ile ilgili açık uçlu sorular yöneltilmiştir. Bu sorular kapsamında EBA’yı kullanıp kullanmadıkları, Okul alt yapılarının EBA’ya uygun olup olmadığı, EBA’yı kullanmanın faydalı olup olmadığı, EBA hangi derslerde kullanılırsa daha etkili olacağı ve Öğrenciler için bu platformun verimli olup olmadığı soruları sorulmuştur. Bu bulgular ışığında genel olarak EBA platformunun faydalı ve öğrenmede kolaylık sağladığı ancak gerekli alt yapıların henüz tamamlanmasından dolayı yeteri derecede istifade edilmediği belirtilmektedir.

Abstract

With the introduction of technology in our lives, it became inevitable to implement certain changes in the field of education. Particularly the FATIH project that included the integration of technology and education, equipping schools with intelligent boards and distribution of tablet computers to students has been a breakthrough in education. All these advances made it necessary to create online educational learning objects that could be used both at school and outside the school. With the introduction of learning objects in education, their advantages and disadvantages also became a matter of discussion. Learning the advantages and disadvantages of these objects is directly proportional to whether the teachers would use these platforms. The objective of the present qualitative study was to determine the views and assessments of the teachers on the Educational Information Network (EIN) established in Turkey within the context of the FATIH project. In this context, 14 Social Studies Teachers were included in the study. Teachers were asked open-ended questions on the EIN platform. They were asked whether they utilized EIN, whether the school infrastructure was adequate for EIN, whether it was beneficial to use EIN, in which courses the use of EIN would be more effective, and whether the platform was productive for the students. Based on the study findings, it was determined that the EIN platform was useful and easy to learn, however it was not adequately utilized since the necessary infrastructure has yet to be established.
