Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenlerinin Görüşlerine Göre Değerlerin Öğretiminde Edebi Ürünlerin Kullanımı

Özet
Değer, toplumların çoğunluğu tarafından kabul gören ve ortak tutumları içeren yargılardır. Sosyal Bilgiler dersinin değerler öğretiminde önemli bir rolü olduğu bilinmektedir. Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde edebi ürünlerden yararlanılması değerlerin öğretimine katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu nedenle bu araştırmada, Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde değerler öğretiminde edebi ürünlerin kullanımına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim döneminde Kastamonu ili Merkez ilçesinde çalışan 20 gönüllü Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenine yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanarak elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yoluyla çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenleri Sosyal Bilgiler derslerinde edebi ürünlerin kullanılmasının önemini değerlerin aktarımını kolaylaştırması, bilgilerin kalıcılığını artırması, kültürel öğeleri öğretmesi ve öğrencilerin derse ilgisini artırması olarak belirtmişlerdir. Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenleri Sosyal Bilgiler derslerinde edebi ürünlerden yararlandıklarını, derslerinde anı, fıkra, atasözü, roman, seyahatname, destan, söylev/nutuk, şiiri kullandıklarını ve bu edebi ürünleri kullanma nedenlerini değerleri aktarması, tarihi konuları aktarması, konuların kalıcılığını sağlaması, öğrencilerin ilgisini çekmesi ve öğrenilenleri pekiştirmesi olarak ifade etmişlerdir.
Abstract
Values are judgments that are accepted by the majority of communities and contain common attitudes. It is known that Social Studies course has an important role in teaching values. The use of literary products in Social Studies class will contribute to the teaching of values. For this reason, in this research, it is aimed to determine the opinions of teachers about the use of literary products in the teaching of values in social studies course. Survey data were obtained by applying a semi-structured interview form to 20 volunteer Social Studies teachers working in the central province of Kastamonu province during the 2015-2016 academic year. The obtained data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. Social Studies teachers in the study pointed out the importance of using literary products in social studies classes as facilitating the transfer of values, increasing the permanence of information, teaching cultural items and increasing the interest of students in the course. Social Studies Teachers use the literary products in their Social Studies lessons and use them in their lessons in order to convey the values of memories, jokes, proverbs, novels, travelnames, epics, speeches, speeches, poems and reasons of using these literary products, transfer historical subjects, As reinforcement of the learners.
