Abstract
Heidegger claims that Bergson depends on classical concept of time that is “measurable” and taken into account together with space since Aristotle. For Heiddegger, Bergson’s time is measurable and could be considered spatial. However Bergson discusses time in two ways in nearly all of works and distinguishes between duration he calls real time and time that science treats as measurable. There are some arguments suggesting that Heidegger’s criticism of Bergson’s concept of time is not correct. Yet it seems true that Heidegger said that Aristotle’s conception influenced Bergson’s concept of time and was determinating factor, especially in terms of starting point. (which is movement for both, but movement is based on science in Aristotle and is life in Bergson). The present paper is aimed at showing that in which context Heidegger’s criticism of Bergson’ concept of time is correct or incorrect, considering Aristotle’s concept of time.
