Özet
Sanayi, hammaddelerin insan kullanımına elverişli hale dönüştürülmesi amacıyla bulunması, işlenmesi ve üretilmesi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Dünyada sanayinin mevcut durumu, geleceğe yönelik beklentileri ve eğilimleri hakkında bilgi veren çeşitli göstergeler mevcut olup bunlar sanayi üretim endeksi, ekonomik güven endeksi ve imalat kapasite kullanım oranıdır. Ekonomik güven endeksi; tüketici güven endeksi, reel kesim (imalat sanayi), hizmet sektörü, perakende ticaret sektörü ve inşaat sektörü güven endekslerinin birleşiminden oluşmaktadır. Ekonomik güven endeksinin 100’den büyük olması genel ekonomik duruma ilişkin iyimserliği, 100’den küçük olması ise ekonomik duruma ilişkin kötümserliği ifade etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, tüketici ve üreticilerin genel ekonomik durumu hakkında bilgi veren ekonomik güven endeksi ve bileşenlerinin ülkemizdeki durumu ve son yıllardaki değişimi incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, reel kesim (imalat sanayi) güven endeksi hariç diğer tüm ekonomik güven endekslerinde kötümserliğin söz konusu olduğu görülmüştür.
Abstract
Industry is defined as supplying, processing and producing of raw materials in order to be made suitable for human use. Various indicators are available for providing information about the status of industry, expectations and trends for future in the world. These indicators are listed as industrial production index, economic confidence index and manufacturing capacity utilization rate. Economic confidence index is composed of consumer confidence index, reel sector (manufacturing industry), service sector, retail trade sector and construction sector confidence indexes. It is optimistic about the general economic situation if the economic confidence index is greater than 100. On the other hand, it is pessimistic about the general economic situation if the economic confidence index is less than 100. In this study, the status and change of economic confidence index and components which provide information about the general economic status of the consumers and producers have been examined in Turkey. As a result, pessimism has been observed in all other economic confidence indexes except for the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index.
