Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to investigate the views and experiences of Science teachersabout online courses during the Covid-19 pandemic. Phenomenology design, one of thequalitative research designs, was used in the research. A total of 15 science teachers, 4male and 11 female, were selected using maximum diversity sampling. The teacherswho participated in the study were interviewed and the data were analyzed bydescriptive analysis method. Under the theme of "Science Online Courses in the Covid19 Pandemic", a total of seven categories emerged: "Tools Used", "Teaching Methodsand Techniques", "Science Experiments", "Benefits", "Problems", "Assessment andEvaluation" and "Suggestions"; a total of seven categories emerged. Science teachersparticipating in the study stated that they frequently used EBA as a tool in onlinecourses and lecture instruction as a method. Participants stated that they performedmost of the science experiments in online classes as demonstration experiments. Theyfind online lessons useful for the integration of technology and education. Still, theyhave difficulties in specific unit titles, and they stated that there was a lack of material.Emphasizing the importance of in-service and pre-service training, they noted the needfor distance and online courses training. In the study, the views of the participants werefrequently included, and the findings were interpreted.
