Özet
Bitkisel ilaçlar son yıllarda halk arasında çok sık kullanılmaya başlayan alternatif tedavi yöntemi olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İnsanlar birçok bitki ve otları hastalıklarını veya semptomlarını düzeltmek için kullanmaktadır. Literatürde bu tür ilaçların hayatı tehdit edici yan etkileri olduğunu bildiren çok sayıda vaka sunumu bildirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada sinüzit tedavisi için Ecbalium elaterium sıvısını burnuna uygulayan ve uvular ödem gelişen olgu literatür eşliğinde sunuldu
Abstract
In recent years, herbal medicine use has become frequent among the public as alternative medical treatment. People use many plants and herbs to treat the symptoms of diseases. However, many cases of life-threatening side effects of such drugs have been reported in the literature. In this study, a patient who administered drops of Ecbalium elaterium juice into his nose for the treatment of sinusitis and developed uvular edema is presented with a review of the literatüre
