Özet
Bu makalede surelerin başında bulunan mukattaa harflerinin anlamı, dil ve tarih perspektifinden okunmaya çalışılmıştır. Öncelikle harflerin Sami alfabelerindeki ortak isimleri ve anlamları ile yer aldıkları Arapça kelime grupları içerisindeki yansımaları karşılaştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci olarak bu harflerin, başında bulundukları surenin ilk ayetleriyle, surenin içerdiği temel konularla ve kıssalarla nasıl bir semantik anlam ilişkisine sahip olduğu gözlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü aşamada harflerin kelimelere yansıyan anlam haritaları ile kıssalarda anlatılan tarihsel olaylar karşılaştırılarak mukattaa harflerinin devamında vurgulanan vahiy ve nübüvvetin tarihsel frekansları yakalanmaya çalışılmıştır. Son tahlilde, ilgili Kur’an kıssalarıyla Orta Doğu mitolojileri arasındaki dilsel ve tarihsel paydalar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
Abstract
In this study it is tried to read the meanings of the hurufu muqatta’a in sura beginnings in the Koran from the perspectives of history and language. We made some comparisons between the common names and menanings of these special letters and the letters in the Semitic Alphabet and paid attention to their relation to the Arabic word groups in which they apppears. Later we searched how these letters are in semantic relations with the first verses which they appears, with the main themes in the surah, and with the Koranic stories. Also it is tried to capture the historical position of the revelation and the prophethood pointed out where followed by muqatta’at, by comparison the meanings patterns reflected in the words followed by these letters and historical events narrated in the qasas. Lastly it is tried to grasp the common features in the relevant Koranic stories and the Middle Eastern mythologies, both in linguistic and historical perspectivities.
