Özet
Bu araştırma. hemşirelerin erkeklere yıllarca kapalı tutulan hemşirelik mesleğine erkek üye alınıp alınmaması konusundaki görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla planlanmıştır. Hemşirelerin hemen hemen tamamı % 92.1 mesleğe erkek üye alınma - sını istemişlerdir. Lisans mezunu ve 29 yaş altındaki hemşirelerin mesleklerine erkek üye alınmasını istemeleri yüksek oranda bulunmuştur. Erkek üye alınmasını isteme nedenleri olarak: kadının yaptığını erkeğin de yapabileceğini. tOplumun bakış açısının değişerek mesleğin statüsünün artacağını, fiziki güç gerektiren bölümlerde çalışabileceklerini belirtmişlerdir.
Abstract
This study was plcumed to firıd out ruırses* opiruious on lıaving male mernbers in the nursing profession in the cerıtral county of the city. Manisa and the relatedfındings were giyen. Nearly alt the nurses 92.1 % of 254 rıurses lıave wanted to see their male colleagues in their profession. It was found out that a high proportion of the nurses with B.E. Baclıeloris of Education and of the nurses under 29 years of age wanted rnale members to participate in the profession. The reasons of their clıoice was that men could also do the things women could do that men coukl do sorne paris of the work requiring physical power. and tlıat the stalus of the profession would get better by the change of the societyis viewpoint about the subject.
