Özet

Ölüm çocuk ve ailesi için temel stres etkenidir. Çocuklar ölüme beklenmeyen şekilde reaksiyon verebilmektedirler. Bu travmatik olay çocuk ve ailesine ciddi psikolojik ve sosyal distres getirebilmektedir. Çocukluk çağı, yas sürecine farklı bir yaklaşımın getirilmesinin gerektiği bir periyottur. Yasın erken döneminde desteklenmeyen çocuk bazı temel psikiyatrik bozukluklara kadar varabilen emosyonel ve davranışsal problemler geliştirebilmektedir. Abstract

The death is a major stressful event for children and their families. Child may be give unexpected reaction to death This traumatic event can bring serious psychological and social distress to bereaved children and their families. Childhood period different importance aspect to grieving process. Children who are not supported in the early phases of grieving can develop serious emotional and behavioral problems that can lead to the development of some major psychiatric disorders. Providing early prevention support programs for surviving parents and bereaved children can help both the parents and the children adapt to their losses. Nurse therapist have an important role child grief period adaptation. Early nursing prevention programs include psycho-educational groups for the surviving parents and support groups for the bereaved children. These nursing structured programs can decrease the risk of complicated grief in bereaved child and parents
