Özet
Polidaktili sindaktiliden sonra üst ekstremitenin en sık gö-rülen doğumsal anomalisidir. Preaksiyel (radial) polidaktilien sık görülen alt grubudur ve her 3000 canlı doğumda birgörüldüğü bildirilmiştir. Radial polidaktili tedavisinde temelolarak iki cerrahi yaklaşım vardır: Biri duplike başparmaklar-dan birinin ablasyonu ve gerekirse diğer parmağın rekons-trüksiyonu, diğeri ise Bilhaut-Cloquet yöntemi veya modifi-kasyonlarıdır. Bu olgu sunumundaki amacımız aşırı deformeWassel tip 3 polidaktilide metakarpofalangeal eklem hare-ketini ve proksimal falanksı korumak ve güçlendirmek içinmodifiye Bilhaut-Cloquet yönteminin uygun bir tercih olduğunu vurgulamaktır.
Abstract
Thumb duplication is a pre-axial polydactyly and one of the most frequent congenital deformities of the hand after syndac- tyly, and the incidence of preaxial polydactyly is reported as 1 in every 3.000 live births. The surgical options for congenital thumb duplication fall into two groups: ablation of one of the duplicated thumbs, with or without reconstruction of the other part, and the Bilhaut-Cloquet procedure or a modification of it. In this case study, our aim was to emphasize the effective- ness of the modified Bilhaut-Cloquet procedure for preserving the metacarpophalangeal joint motion and proximal phalanx unity in more deformed Wassel type 3 polydactyly.
