Özet
Tifoda karaciğer fonksiyon testlerinde bozukluk sık görülmekle beraber akut hepatit kliniği şeklinde seyreden ciddi karaciğer tutulumu enderdir. Literatürde 150'yi aşkın olgu olup tifolu olguların % 1-26'sında gelişebildiği bildirilmiştir. Bu yazıda, 21 yaşında bir erkek hastada görülen, kolestatik seyirli akut hepatit tablosunda gelişen bir tifo olgusu sunulmuştur.
Abstract
Typhoid fever is often associated with abnormal liver biochemical tests, but severe hepatic involvement with a clinical feature of acute hepatitis is a rare complication. There have been more than 150 cases of Salmonella hepatitis reported. Its prevalance has been estimated as 1-26 % in patients with enteric fever. In this paper, a 21-year-old male with acute cholestatic typhoid hepatitis is presented.
