Özet
21 Temmuz ve 10 Eylül 1997 tarihleri arasında, 2 periyot halinde süren denemede, 10'arlı 2 gruptan oluşan 20 adet Siyah Alaca sağmal ineğe 3'er haftalık periyotlarda duş uygulanmıştır. Basit Dönüşümlü Deneme Planına göre yapılan analiz sonucunda, duş uygulamasının deneme sırasında oluşan sıcaklık ve nem koşullarında süt verimi özerine istatistik! bir etkisi olmadığı anlaşılmıştır.Duşa girme davranışı bakımından ineklerin, orta derecede stres ortamının var olduğu I. periyot süresince, II. periyotta oluşan ve nispeten stres ortamı oluşturmayan hava koşullarına oranla daha uzun süre (5.9±0.25 dk) ortalama ile ve fazla sayıda (6 defa/gön) girdikleri gözlenmiştir.
Abstract
This experiment was conducted to find out the effect of providing shower on milk yield and to study the beheviour in taking shower of Black and White cows at hot summer months. Shower was provided for 20 Black and White cows on lactation. Cows were divided in two groups each group having shower during 3 week periods in the experiment lasting from 21st July to 10* September 1997. There was no significant effect of having shower on milk yield at prevailing temperature and humidity conditions during the experiment, according to the analysis carried out at cross over design. Cows had more showers (6 times/day) and for longer periods (5.910.25 min) by themselves during the first period then the second period mainly because of the prevailing stress conditions.
