Özet
Perge 2015 yılı kazılarında batı cadde üzerinde iki adet terrakotta at figürini bulunmuştur. Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi’ne ait koroplastik iki at figürini MS 2-3. yüzyıllara tarihlenebilir.
Abstract
During the 2015 excavations in Perge, two terracotta horse figurines were found on the west street. In ancient times, these types of figurines were used as votive offerings, grave gifts or toys. It is understood that the coroplastic horse figurine with inventory number 2015/157 was used as a votive statuette since it was located in the Mosaic Building, which was located on the south side of the west street and served as a sanctuary during the Roman Period. The terracotta horse figurine with inventory number 2015/158 was found at the west end of this street. Although it is more likely to be a toy, its function has not been determined exactly. Two coroplastic horse figurines from the Roman Imperial Period, can be dated to the 2nd-3rd century AD.
