Abstract
In this study, three votive sculptures, which are preserved in Aydın Archaeological Museum and found in the ancient city of Alabanda, which were brought to the museum by means of purchase and donation, were discussed. The aim is to contribute to the sculpture literature of the Roman Imperial Period of the Caria Region and to present the plastic works found in Alabanda to the scien- tific world. In this context, the period characteristics and sculpture centers of the sculptures, which are evaluated in terms of technique, craftsmanship and stylistic, were tried to be determined. Due to the contextual problem caused by the fact that the works handled within the scope of the study are not excavated materials, they could be dated by analogy with the sculptures in the Caria Region and the nearby geography. The second half of the 2nd century AD during the Roman Imperial Period is suggested for the sculptures evaluated in the study. As a result of the comparisons, it was under- stood that the examined plastic sculpture group reflected the style elements seen in the ancient city of Tralleis at the end of the 2nd century AD.
