Presentation Of The Project Entitled "Contributions To The Development Of Linguistic Skills And Awareness Of Environmental Issues For Future Foreign Language Teachers" And Its Applications In FLE

Abstract

This study aims to presents the project supported by the Scientific ResearchCentre of Uludag University and entitled Contributions to the Development ofLinguistics Skills and Awareness of Environmental Issues for Future ForeignLanguage Teachers . Hence, the applications in the French department arepresented. The project's starting point is that the documentaries are not used enoughin the teaching of foreign languages. In collaboration with the English and Germandepartments, the main goal is to develop, from the documentary Home, educationalmaterials and thus contribute to the development of language and professional skillsof future teachers. In this study the importance of the use of audio-visual materials inforeign language teaching and the advantages of documentary films have beenhighlighted. Then the development phases of teaching materials from the Homecorpus for learners of FLE are presented. Following the return of the learnersperceptions for the implementation, some didactical proposals are given to optimizethis material.
